JJ-CCR MOD2 course

Mod 2 course on the JJ-CCR

The JJ-CCR MOD 2 course is an intermediate certification program for divers aiming to use CCR’s for mixed gas diving. This training focuses on developing your understanding of the benefits, risks, and correct procedures for conducting mixed gas dives on the JJ-CCR.

Throughout the course, you will gain the skills needed to safely dive to depths of up to 60 metres using helium-based diluent gases containing at least 16% oxygen. The program builds your competence in advanced gas management, dive planning, and emergency protocols essential for technical diving at greater depth

Diving to greater depths demands advanced knowledge of gas management and thorough dive planning – and that’s exactly what the TDI MOD 2 CCR Diver course delivers. This training prepares you to plan and execute CCR dives to 60 metres, incorporating at least two or more stage cylinders.

Throughout the course, you will deepen your understanding of your rebreather system and learn how to effectively manage and recover from various potential failures. You will also consolidate your core CCR skills while refining your gas planning and dive planning abilities.

This is the certification level many divers aspire to when they begin CCR diving. By the end of the course, you will have the confidence and competence to safely enjoy dives to these depths, fully equipped with advanced skills for mixed gas diving.

Courses can be completed on our rental units or your own unit and even on the JJ-CCR XRC
