The philosophy behind the JJ-CCR revolves around keeping it straightforward, reliable, and easy to handle, both before and after the dive. The main assembly comprises a durable aluminum housing and a stainless steel stand that holds essential components such as counter lungs, wings, and harness. This design ensures comfort on land while donning the rebreather and provides stability during underwater exploration. Additionally, the JJ-CCR features optimized hoses and gas paths for superior performance in water and simplified maintenance.
To cater to the needs of experienced technical divers, the JJ-CCR comes equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, including a digital HUD (Head Up Display) that provides real-time PPO2 (partial pressure of oxygen) readings from all three oxygen sensors. Moreover, a reliable controller with an integrated Shearwater multi-gas decompression computer ensures a safe and efficient diving experience.
For experienced technical divers the familiarity of the Shearwater computer makes learning to dive the the JJ-CCR so much easier than propitiatory dive controllers.
