PADI Technical Diving in Thailand
Technical diving is not simply recreational diving to greater depths.
It is a different approach to diving that requires disciplined equipment configuration, gas management, decompression planning, team procedures, problem-solving and a high level of situational awareness.
At Tech Dive Asia, our goal is not simply to issue another certification.
We train technical divers who can understand what they are doing, why they are doing it, and how to respond when conditions do not go according to plan.
Our PADI technical-diving pathway includes:
- PADI Discover Tec
- PADI Tec Basics
- PADI Tec 40
- PADI Tec 45
- PADI Tec 50

Tech Dive Asia is currently the only technical-diving training facility in Phuket offering both diver-level and instructor-level training under the new PADI TecRec portfolio. The current PADI TecRec curriculum was comprehensively revised in 2023, incorporating updated training methodology and diving-science concepts including gas-density considerations and Trimix options.
Your PADI Technical Diving Pathway
Start where you are. Progress when you are ready.
Technical diving is a progression, not a race.
